Having worked in the field of Architectural Design for more than 20 years, setting up my own design studio seemed like a natural progression. Having worked in various Architects practices, including most recently spending 3 years with Alston Murphy Associates in Newcastle, I have built up experience of a wide range of projects, from initial conception through to completion.
Each client and their project is a unique. I like to quickly build an open working relationship with you, listening and taking on board your ideas and vision and making sure that achieving your client’s requirements remains my priority through our working relationship.
Through careful consideration of each sites context, its wider form and local vernacular, the movement of light and shade and through creativity and innovation, I will endeavour to create innovative solutions that maximise the potential, of both the internal and external spaces, of your site.
My approach to all projects is professional and creative. I strive to be pro-active in all aspects of the design and build process and always look to keep my clients fully informed and up to date. I work closely with a small group of trusted Professional Consultants, providing supporting services and reports ranging from Heritage to Flood Risk. I always look to work closely and build an amicable relationship with Local Authorities.
I see my role as ‘lead designer’ for my clients, bringing together design and creative expertise from various disciplines, driving forward every aspect of the creative and build process to ensure that you achieve and exceed your vision, on time and on budget.
