Apperley Road is nearing completion. The project has taken a traditional family home in a lovely setting in Stocksfield, and transformed it into a stunning home where light filled spaces and open plan living provide the family with a stunning contemporary home.

The original home was separated from the large garden beyond by a fomer garage block, which sat directly behind the dwelling. This has been demolished, along with the original uPVC conservatory, which was tired and cold in the winter.  

The new garden room provides a direct connection to the garden and patio area beyond. The open plan snug, kitchen and dining space provide a perfect family living space. This is now the hub of the home. We have also provided a new utility space with a ‘muddy boots’ back door and laundry. A new ground floor WC and study make the most of the spaces available within the existing dwelling.

Our clients had a lovely home in a lovely setting, but it needed updated. The renovation and extension of the property has provided the family with light filled, open plan living spaces with a direct connection to the garden beyond. 

The building works have been undertaken by MTW Building and Joinery and they have made a superb job of project. The attention to detail is superb and the finish is excellent. We look forward to returning to the project soon to see the gardens, driveway and external areas completed.
