Warksburn Old Church Interior Now Complete
The interior of the Warksburn Old Church project is now complete. We attended the recent open day and viewed the fantastic interior finishes. The feature oak and glass staircase welcomes you as you enter the hallway, with a long view through to the Kempe stained galss windows on the west elevation wlecoming you into the spaces. The interior of Warksburn Old Church is an absolute delight. The client, Dr Anne James, has chosen some wonderful colours and finishes to create a modern, bright and colourful interior.
The interior at Warksburn Old Church is now complete, and looks absolutely stunning. The project transforms a former Victorian Methodist Chapel, into a Passivhaus, energy efficient building, which is a world first!
The interior is filled with many peices of furniture have been made specifically for the project. This includes floor standing lights and console tables, made of timber sourced from the development site. Bespoke ceramic light fittings, suspended from the vaulted ceiling, project down into the full height void, and Anne will display her own ceramics, along with ceramics, paintings and photography, from other local artists, throughout the holiday let.
