Planning Approved | Self Build Dwelling
We are delighted to have achieved planning approval for a self (custom) build dwelling for our client’s in Sharperton, in the Coquet Valley. The new build dwelling will be built on a south facing site, that slopes north south. The dwelling will be single storey, with a basement that will be built into the bankside of the site. The site has stunning views to the south, while being incredibly well screened by trees to the north, east and west.
The project will create a bespoke dwelling in the stunning Coquet Valley. The design includes a basement plunge pool and sauna, and will enjoy stunning views over the valley, into the National Park.
The build will be timber frame, with a mixture of natural, random rubble sandstone, and Siberian Larch cladding vertically mounted. The large areas of glazing to the south and west will be mounted in aluminium frames. The south facing roof pitch will include inset solar PV, which will charge a residential battery, and power an air source heat pump.
