Insight Architectural Design were commissioned to develop a design, and gain planning approval, for an extension to the existing luxury care residence at Wentworth Grange in Riding Mill. The spaces created would provide a contemporary, open plan dining, bar and social space, along with a new commercial kitchen.

 Dining in style is an essential feature of life at Wentworth Grange and the restaurant is designed to complement the exquisite food which is freshly prepared. Light natural wood, wonderful light and countryside views in a contemporary design best describes Restaurant Talia. The Terrace leads directly off Restaurant Talia with views looking west towards Corbridge and the beautiful Tyne Valley.

The two extensions are single storey, of steel and timber frame construction, with Larch vertical timber cladding. Large areas of full height glazing provide uninterrupted views, while the full height bifold doors provide access to the terrace.
